If you have a leaky MC the seals around the piston are deteriorated and they leak fluid past them causing your pedal to go to the floor. You won't experience it yet because you're probebly in the infancy of it so I would just go ahead and replace the MC. Plus if the car has a lot of miles on it, think of it as just preventative maintenance.
