I purchase a 98 b18c motor back in 2000 and lost my paperworks somewere down the road. i'm finally planning on getting the motor state referee and was wondering if the state referee can run up the numbers under the b18c block number to find out that my motor is legit since i no longer have papers. the shop i bought it from closed down a long time ago so there is no way for me to get documents of it. call chp, but does guys are dumb they keep telling me jdm motor are illegal to have in california.
