If it's what you really want then buy it. Like others have said insurance is gonna be a killer and people are going to try to steal it. About the 9mm, in Cali you can't shoot anyone unless they are threatening your safety and stealing your car isn't a good enough reason. If you do shoot someone shoot to kill and don't shoot them in the back.

It might be cheaper to just build your own type r though. Buy a LS teg, a type r motor and tranny and you're set. Since it started life as a LS it wont be as big a target unless you let everyone know what you have.
