F1 drivers make history as they drive their high-revving, 1000+ man hours of engineering involved, sweet melody of an F1 V8 and as their carbon-fiber monocaque body streamline through the air. Best suspension and brakes that mankind are capable of making where G-forces can exceed 5 G's on a hard corner and 120G's on a front-end collision. I can go on...
I just can't see how it's fun to see a sport where Chevy (amazing in ALMS), Dodge, Ford, etc compete at their top of their technology and innovation on a oval track with thousands of fans (mostly rednecks) are cheering.
that's just me though..
F1 is cool because of the insane technology but it's usually one of the big 3 (ferrari, mclaren, renault) beating the snot out of the rest of the field.
Also NASCAR does a good job keeping all the teams happy and haven't had half of the field drop out of a race due to tire issues.
