there really isnt as much cheating as you would think..at least in terms of "getting away" with stuff. theres pre race inspection, post race inspection, strict rules throughout testing and practices...just like all the other racing sports. you just hear about it more with NASCAR because of its size

A couple other guys got docked points for aerodynamic infractions, but this one is HUGE. The article said nobody was fired, but ESPN said yesterday that his crew chief was fired. I feel bad for him, because he had no idea what was going on with the car...none of the drivers do. They trust the crew and crew chief to do everything right...unfortunately, sometimes they do stuff like this.
any driver who claims to have no knoledge is either a terrible driver or out and out lieing.
90% of your drivers, especially nascar take a hands on approach when it comes to their cars. alot of these guys started in local dirt track open wheels so they are very into what goes on with their car.
