shaker
chilled cocktail glass
olive on a cocktail toothpick
3 shots top shelf gin of your choice
1/2 shot of extra dry vermouth

Chill the cocktail glass by filling with ice then topping off with water.

Fill the shaker with ice. Cubes. Not crushed.

Measure in 3 shots of the gin of your choice and 1/2 shot of extra dry vermouth. Shake. Not too much. Once the shaker gets noticeably chilly to the touch and frosts over a bit you're done.

Empty the cocktail glass, flick any bit of water out of it. Place your garnish into the glass. Pour out the shaker into the glass. Drink immediately.

Enjoy the perfect dry martini.
