I know with drum brakes if the little racheting adjuster gets stuck it can make your brakes soft (more distance to move pad before it contacts the drum) how does this happen with disc brakes?
Because if you have a stuck caliper slider, the caliper piston would have to move out more than it has to and cause the pedal to have a softer feel and it would feel like you need more pedal travel to get brakes.
When I'm at work and i have a car with a softer than normal pedal, thats the first thing I go to after I look at the reservior.
