Yes you can, and BTW, ITR and GSR retainers are the same.
Here are some threads that prove how reliable OEM retainers are. I'm not saying Snoop is wrong, just backing up my previous statement. Now I know why the shop that rebuilt my head recommended OEM retainers for reliabilty:
