after 150,000 miles and never changing the tranny fluid? not a real good idea. my experience is that by not changing the tranny fluid for so long hardens the inner seals..and since the original fluid was very thick from deposits etc. it was running fine. until you put in fresh tranny fluid which is now thinner& cleaner , the seals are not working as well and thus the bad performance shifting. as for should you use honda atf or non honda atf is a subject of much discussion. if you use non honda atf, do a 4 parts dextron/1 part synthetic ATF ( i have done this with my wifes 02 accord) it runs just fine....Also I never go to jiffy lube, they just do not get it .
