A lighter flywheel give you less bottom end and more top end. Grenading comes from mis alignment in most cases, but I have heard otherwise as well...as long as it is name brand you should be ok.

I just hand my clutch done today. Exedy OEM replacement and 8lb fidanza flywheel. I feel a difference in pedal feel but that is all for now. In about 488 miles I let you know what I think completely.
