at least that way theres a bit of evidence on your side. but honestly, if i was in that situation, what society might think would be the last thing from my mind....
I doubt you would go to jail, there would be sufficient evidence of self defense especially the video.
But, even with the video proving it was self defense the media would still ruin your life over it. I guarantee they would get a hold of that video and just show images of you running them over while leaving out how it started completely. I would have made them speed bumps to, I'm just pointing out what we all know the aftermath would be.
