OK I have been having this weird problem for some time now and despite every attempt to isolate it I have been unsuccesfull so I am turning to the knowledge base here for some help. This has been happening for over a year and is more an annoyance than anything.

Every time I hit 3000 RPM when the engine is at normal operating temperatures I hear something vibrating. This does not happen when the engine is cold, only when it is warmed up and only happens at 3000 RPM. I do not feel anything when driving the car or have any vibrations in the steering wheel or elsewhere. If it were not for the fact I hear the vibration at 3000 RPM I would not know it was there as the car runs normal.
