dude i feel you and all but...i didn't get an alignment after i lowered mine the first time just cause i didn't have the money, i ended up waiting a month and i had some brand new tires on there and it ate them up in that one month. if you wait for the alignment your gonna be paying like 300$ versus 50 to replace your tires, now if you will have the shocks in like a week then yeah thats ok to wait a week.
I don't know what happened when you lowered your car but I know people who have been riding on the same exact setup as me for like 5-10k miles and haven't got an alignment yet, no prob w/treadwear w/regular tire rotation. It's a little bit of work but I don't have a problem w/doing that. Another problem is that the only shop in Sac that aligns lowered cars, G-12, is only open on weekdays:madfawk:
