it's the on the hood latch if you look closely at it you will see a 2 wire plug if you unplug it the alarm will think the hood is closed...if you short the 2 wires together it will think the hood is open. you can try it unplugged first then if it still falses then short the 2 wires on the plug so the alarm thinks the hood is open and not arm but remote will still unlock & lock the doors.
