stereo - thanks for the reply. I might have to ground the blue wire on the power window switch for the short term because it is getting worse (happening more oftern).

I'm pretty sure a bad hood switch is the source of my problem but I have no idea where the switch is. Is it part of the latch? I don't see a pin style switch anywhere under the hood.
