actually the Ex alarm is part of the passenger side multiplexer if removed most of the functions like power windows won't work! anly thing to do is groung the disarm (blue wire) On the EX the wire is located at the drivers power window switch. if grounded it keeps the factory alarm disarmed or short out the hood switch so it thinks the hood is always open and not arming.
