I have seen a guy swap int the shifter from a Lude. He said it went in w/o any problem and it is like 1-2" shorter. I would like to cut mine down but then I would have to get a new shift handle thingie cause my Type-R screws in.
you cut it where its already welded... where the tube-like part meets the "base"... then cut the bottom of the tube-like part down your desired length, and re-weld it... you cant cut the top because the shift arm is hollow and it has a bend in it... you'll never get another shift knob on there, especially if you re-thread it.
