I spec'd a couple of hood systems with fire suppression and washdown with an existing makeup air system and the price I gave was the middle bid of 5 estimates. I used to specify equipment purchases for the hotels that I worked in. I specified
all capital purchases in all areas of the hotel and my staff maintained all the equipment.
