You are right, she is an older car (1995) and the markings are on specific parts. Basically, I am trying to figure out if the car's first owner got in an accident with her or if these marks are factory. I've been dealing with drastic problems relating to the car's suspension.
I pulled up a carfax report and it's alright-no reported accidents. However, the welding that I discovered in the trunk under the lining and these marks made me consider the possibility that the damage was never reported to the insurance co.
Otherwise, the suspension issues I am dealing with must be due to my own mistake of altering the stock ride height. I lowered her 2 inches and recently had the suspension redone-but nothing is bringing her back up higher!!! These weld markings in the trunk seem to be splitting-probably from the harsh ride of the lowering kit.
It seems that no one wants to deal with me at any shops-probably b/c they don't want to be held liable for any of the upcoming damages if I were to continue driving her. Otherwise, I am thinking it's b/c I altered the warrentied suspension (stock suspension parts). She only has 85K on her and these problems seem to be to severe on a car that was babied so well!!!
Do you think that these marked parts that I posted pics of are replaced parts?I know junkyards sell off auto parts and mark the parts to show they are replaced parts. You think this is what these marks are from???
