I have checked the dims and the speeds are fine. I did a search on Discount tire and most of the options for a 16" wheel is around a 38 offset.

If I dont like the way the rims look I can get rid of them. I didnt want to have to buy and mount tires if they wouldnt fit the car. It's hard to believe that no one has tested the 235/45/17's on a 7gen and posted it.

I think I'll stick to the 225/50/17 to be safe though unless some post more info.
