yes.. it's possible and do as the guy did.
you need a ignition switch with immobilizer unit on it.. (not sure if your 2000 CIvic has it.. but double check it.. if your ignition switch has the immobilizer unit.. on it.. then you are fine)

You need to send the singal to the ECU that your Code has match with the ecu is not it? "ignition sender, ECU receiver"
