I suggest using some type of shield when using a PnP HID kit...or do a retrofit.
About the PnP HID kit and later installing shields, wouldn't the thickness of the shield affect the placement of the HID bulb?
The prongs that the shield have (the same "Y" shaped prongs that hold the bulb in place) add thickness doesn't it?
