P1607 PCM Internal circuit Failure 01 GSR
My first problem that ive had was a loose rotor (rotor and cap) cap was tight but not the rotor inside, the screw wasn't tightened enough, and popped out after a couple thousand miles, so it ate up my cap and rotor and was bogging a lot, then died. (luckily in my drive way) so i changed it and wont start now, i also changed the fuel relay, fuel pump and fuel injectors because when i would click the key to position 3, usually u hear a distinctive noise that the injectors would spray and the engine would start when turning the key over, but no sound and when turning the key over, wont start. So then i would click back and fourth from the 2 to 3 key positions untill i hear that distinctive noise from the injectors and cranked it when i heard it and then it would start after 20-50 trys, everything works fine when its on besides a high idle of 1.5 rpms it would stay at. (timing is good though) but when i would turn it off and then try to restart it, the injectors wont spray and wont start untill another 20-50 trys. i bought equipment for diagnostics because of this problem and changed a lot of parts that thought were the problem but not it and just need help of what else it might be, im leaning towards changing the ecu from the code it was throwing me (p1607 pcm internal circuit failure) but i really dont want to spend $900 dollars for a new ecu, so if theres anybody out there that can tell me something else that i dont already know besides changing the ecu please help
