Hmm... Dome doesn't work huh?.. Well I don't know a Civic is wired but.. But I do know that every Dome Light circuit is Grounded when the door is open. And I know that by opening and closing doors a lot, the wires can bend and break or the switch's contact points can burn out. As for where these things are, I can't help you there.
