My wife's CR-V makes a crunch grinding type of noise when applying brakes, most notably when cold. When the dealer does remedy the problem, it last for a month to six weeks. Service Department says there is no long term fix. I believe it is the caliber or rotor that is greased and cleaned. Have any other owners experienced this occurance; and if so found a long term remedy?
