All etiquette rules are out the window in public restrooms. Talking is a no. Head nods are a no. Eye contact is a no. Touching (ie handshaking, high 5's, etc) is a definite no.
i hate people that sit down in the stall next to you & then want to carry on a conversation while you are dropping the kids off at the pool........
