With a '94 Civic DX, the manual tranny could probably be pulled out in less than two hours using floor jacks and some knowledge. If you know what you're doing and have access to a lift, you really don't want to know how quick it is.
Oh I know how quick it is, plus you don't even need a tranny jack if you have any sort of strength. The trickiest part would be lining up the dowel pins to the engine block during re-installation.
