A debit card is not a line of credit. The debit card only works if I have cash in my account and once that is gone the card is junk. I thought this was common knowledge.

I have only ever taken one loan from an institution which was for $15k for some schooling and was paid off 6 months after I finished the school. One credit card with a $400 limit when I was 23 or so but I burnt that one quick.

So after not being on the credit books for a little over 10 years it pretty much puts me back to the start as far as credit is concerned.
