my last beater was a 1991 mazda 626 that i got for free, all i had to do was tow it outta the guys yard. new used battery and it started right up. put new brakes on it and it ran like a champ. still does for that matter....my lil sis got it as her first car this year.

dont think ive ever spent more than 500 on a beater
