Obviously you think I am a AV retard, which I am not.

I build and install high end audio/video solutions for people, and I can assure you, you must have the wrong specs on the SP4805, because it's operating resolution is at 1280x720 and will accept both EDTV and HDTV inputs.

I have seen both of these projectors in action, in light controlled rooms (I have one in my theater) and there is no comparison between the two. The blacks on the incfocus are much better than the 70, and the light sensitivity is better also.

It may be the projector that everyone is talking about, but if you are ever see them side by side, I think you will decide differently.

Both projectors are good, but personal preference I like the infocus much better.

Also, the guys at AVS will tell you to spend 10 grand on a sound system, and you can get quality that is better than those bloated brands for much less than that.

John, if you have a place close to where you can sample projectors, this is the best option by far, because you will get something that suits you best, not people on a web board.
