oh yea most def Infinity references and kappas would fit. and yes you're going to have to cut the basket for ur 2 6.5". Where u planning to place the tweeters tho? Some advice...place them on the door panel and face them towards you. If you put them where the stock tweeters are, you'll hear nothing! Infinitys' go from $100 for the reference to no more than $200 for the kappas. To me there's no difference. I'd also look into MA audio or JL audio components.
