Default Honda came through

I wrote to this forum a couple months ago seeking information on the longevity of the automatic transmissions on 1998 V6 models. Mine expired at 77,000 miles. Some folks faulted the fact that I had the transmission flushed when maintained instead of just drained, and others told me I should have only used Honda fluid.
Apparently Honda Motors U.S.A. is not as concerned with this as the members of this forum. They responded to my letter with a phone call, and a 50% settlement of the entire bill for replacement.
Not every car they make is going to be be perfect, but they did step up and try to make amends. For this I am very gratefull.
