To add to what Dub said it also is a high rev motor kind of like the Chevy 327 is to the 350. so not only can you squeeze mad power out on a budget but you can (with a lot of work) wrap that sucker up to the 10k range and not blow the piss out of it.
really? I dont really deal in domestic motors that often, unless I have to work on them at work...I wasnt aware they had such a nice rod/stroke ratio.
