I usually get her a few gift cards to some stores she likes. Mainly because I know she likes shopping for clothes, if I go with her there will be a fight and "I'll never shop with you again" is said by one of us (yet we go again) and I just suck at buying clothes anyway.

BUT, I only use the gift cards as like filler gifts. And I always do something fun with them. Like put them inside 5 boxes nested inside each other and they are Duct Taped closed each, so she has to work for it and it's just a gift card. :chuckles:
She enjoys it, it's fun.
