Benefits

-the Honda manuals (6th gen) are reliable (unlike the autos......)
-Automatics suck?
-MPG
-No tranny fluid replacement (Ok, every 30K miles? lol)
-Chicks dig guys who drive manuals. Ask them. It's true.
-Downshifting a 4-speed auto is weak sauce compared to throwing a manual in 3rd, kickin in the V-tech (even in an I-4) and racing up a hill.
-Jiffy lube will have so much less to jack up when you take it in since they won't be able to powerflush a manual.
-Did I mention auto's suck?

Disadvantages

-can't drive well when shifting and eating/talking on cell/etc. but you shouldn't be doing that crap anyways.
-clutch replacement every 250K miles (I lol at this since that would be about 3 automatic transmissions for a 6th gen)
-other people who don't know how to drive a stick can't drive your car, but this is an advantage in many cases. Frankly, I don't want my wife driving my car.
