its just that the demand is too high. Once the market gets flooded with them, and the price starts to drop in a year, you'll see them sell more and more. again, a la ps2.

if I ever get a ps3, it won't be for another year or two. my buddy has one, so I'll just save $600 for a bit (he's actually spent $900 w/ games and accessories).
