Is the "broken" plug firing? Running on three cylinders?

The reason I ask is that if the car is running normally, spark plugs are easier to remove from a warm engine.

Even if the ceramic/tip is busted all you should need is a socket and plenty of leverage. Try to get any fragments out of the hole with a shop vac before removing the brpken plug.
