Its hard to generalize a big area. For example, my district as a whole is a pretty decent district in terms of crimes. However, my street...although getting better, is not. All the bad areas are in the flatlands. The West Oakland BART station is not in a safe neighborhood
h: My gf's housemate got robbed there. But one area of Oakland that I wont even drive through are the projects in East Oakland.
