i'm not thinking a stock honda will come near a stock g35. never said that. what i am asking is which engine option should i look into? my goal is to get it somewhere in the mid 200's horsepower wise without sacrificing reliability. maybe that's not possible. i don't know. that's why i'm here. i know there's stuff out there for the v-tec. but what's out there for the 2.7l and 3.0l's. is my goal possible? which of the three is my best option? i'm not looking to win any drag races. i can do that in my diesel. i just want to build a car to have a little fun with. and if i can get it close to the g35 even better.

hp80..thanks for the heads up on the trans. i believe i heard they are or were being recalled. i'll have to make a note to ask the original owner if it's been done. thanks again.
