not all HMT setups are pvc piping. you'll see a few 400whp+ setups on there. so again, i recommend checking it out
hehe, search n00b

EDIT: i feel a little generous (or bored at work, either one) so here's a list:
turbo manifold(lots to choose from. anywhere from hf/std stock mani with adapter to an aftermarket)
turbo(LOTS to choose from. very common are 14b, t25, garret t3 .42/.48(off saab))
downpipe (2.5" or up. buy some 2.5" mandrel ubends and cut and weld yourself)
full exhaust is recommended lol (again 2.5" or up. no resonator or cat unless you need to pass inspection)
intercooler (johnnyracecar sells very nice cheap ones)
intercooler piping(buy some 2 or 2.5" mandrel ubends and cut and weld yourself for cheapest solution)
bov(any will do)
oil feed and drain lines(you can typically find a kit made for your turbo. oil feed comes off block to turbo. oil drain goes from turbo to oil pan)
boost gauge(autometer)
fuel injectors (most people go for dsm 450's. cheap and effective. you'll need to wire in a resistor box with them and some obd1 clips)
fuel management(best solution would be to convert to obd1, buy a p06 ecu and have it chipped and get an uberdata or crome basemap made. then take it to get dyno tuned)
this is just a pretty typical bare bones setup that will get you running very nicely. there are endless possibilities and combinations.. and that my friend, is the fun of the game
