If the smell is coming from beneath the car, you prolly need to put it up on jackstands and inspect the fuel lines for any damage. If those look good, inspect the vapor and fill tubes (where you put the gas in) to see if they are OK. The smell of the gas vapors should be able to point you close to where the leak is.
