A little update on this issue.

My 93 Accord starting running really rough and extremely hard to start.

This time instead of taking it to the shop that screwed up my car the first time, I took it to a shop that I trusted and should have taken it too in the first place last time.

Well, it appears that my ignition coil was worn out. That would explain it firing rough and not wanting to start. Replaced that and it started much better. But the plugs were fouled due to poor ignition and the plug wires with 200,000+ miles on them were worn. Replaced those also.

However, they took the distributor cap off and oil poured out of the distributor...... that's not good!. Replaced the entire distributor (including the ignition module) and it runs almost like brand new now.

Also, the orignal problem I posted in this thread, the tach bouncing, was taken care of by this shop.

The car hasn't run this good in years. (I've had this Honda 12 years and drive it an hour roundtrip to work each day at freeway speeds).

Thanks for everyone's suggestions and help.
