ripping a turbo of a 12v cummins isn't a good idea. that turbo is designed for a 6cyl 5.9 litre engine, so its going to do two things you don't want. 1) its going to take longer to spool up because the cummins puts out so much more exhaust volume so you will have really horrible turbo lag 2) its going to compress far more air than your engine will be able to process once again because of the difference in size between the engines. If you really want to get a turbo from a junkyard you're far better off trying to find one out of a 300zx or something similar with the smaller engine. Your best bet though is too just research like Mugen said. Research a bunch and find the turbo kit that is matched to your needs and then shell out the cash.
