Heres the deal. I had a b18c5 swap in my 97GSR 4dr. It was raining really hard one night and my CAI is really low. It was starting to suck water so i decided to pull over on a ramp and wait out the rain... well there was a big puddle awaiting me on the off ramp. Engine died as i went through it. Got it started later that night....the next day i was driving my car and the block cracked....

I recently got a new block assembly, and had the old head taken to a machine shop and all new valves put in and totally checked out. The motor is all together in my garage now. My friend who is a mechanic has been working on it for a few days. Theres a couple problems though, It idles really rough, vtec does not kick in, and its seems to be smoking quite a bit. He hasn't had much experience with this type of motor so hes kind of stumped.
