The reason that the LS got the self parking feature is because it is a new technology. All the top line luxury cars get these technologies and then filter them down to the lower models as prices drop. HID headlights were first introduced on top end luxury cars first, then their lower siblings in the lineup. now that HID technology is cheaper it is ending up in lower line cars like Altimas and Mazda 3s. Lexus was the first to market with this technology and placed it in their flagship car, just like Acura put the SH-AWD in the RL. Let's not beat them up for not having a perfect technology the way we want it right off the bat. It is something new and like everything will improve in time.
