i just remembered I have EEpro installed on this thing and did half of my electronics homework in less than 5 minutes.

had it for 5 years, and I stand by a statement I've said before, it is THE BEST INVESTMENT I HAVE EVER MADE

if you are in the engineering or math fields i strongly suggest you buy one.... so many schools still want you to use calculators in the 82 or 85 series... but they don't want you to know is that even in it's lowest form the 89 (or any of the 9x series for that matter) can do anything you want it to... really, it can.

small list of what it can do that i use all the time:

expansion of terms
factoring of terms
fractions AS FRACTIONS
multiple-equations solver

shit this thing can even do differential equations, if you have to ever take a DiffEq class the 89 can basically do it for you, all you need to know is when to use it and where to put what it gives you.

the ti-89 makes the most difficult equations plug and chug. it's honestly the greatest thing, ever.
