Ok, when I'm using Guitar Rig as a DXI plug-in in Sonar to record some instruments I constantly get dropouts.

Dropouts are basically an emergency stop button that turns itself on when your computer runs out of resources. For some reason the little CPU% indicator at the bottom of the program is pegged at 100%.

The minimum requirements for the program are 700mhz processor and 128mb of ram. I have a 2.4GHz processor and 480mb of ram currently.

I was wondering if there is any way to free up some memory on my computer or do I have to get new ram or something?
