CP 9.7:1 pistons, Eagle Rods = $750.
Bearings from honda, $100.
Full OEM gasket kit, $210.
OEM Timing belt, water pump, & tensioner $140.
Machine shop .020 Bore & Hone $80.
Clutch & Flywheel $300.

Thats everything I did to my block, wasn't terribly expensive. I did some head work too, but I had a bent valve. I'd suggest getting all that stuff (or similar), and keep compression between 9:1 - 10:1. Then your car will drive like stock until you get your turbo.
