Default Big job!

I agree, get a short block!!! With all the work you'd put into replacing the new crank, all the bearings, and hoping that all the clearances are correct, you would have a real headache. It can be done, but a good engine shop would have to be involved. With that alone you would easily double the entire cost of what you paid for the car.
