if u dont want to spend the money on a new car then be ready to spend $3,000 the most or $4-5G at the dealer.
I personally would have just drop a used $300 tranny and sell the car as is and buy myself a new accord or civic but I just got married and I am buying a house so I will need to keep my accord for a bit longer.
btw I change the tranny fluid, flush and all that but it did little if any.

yeah, im in the same boat as you. only i already have the house and am getting married. i would go drop that $2k into a new car, but i know this one has most of the stuff done to get it to 250k miles, including having just put a grand into the timing belt.

how long do i got before i wont be able to drive it? i need it to last about another month, and its only driven to and from the park and ride, about 4 miles each way, and not really driven on the weekends.
